The school doors open at 8.50 a.m. unless the weather is poor, in which case the children are admitted. We ask that children do not arrive before 8.40 a.m. Pupils line up on the playground where they are greeted by their teachers and led into school. The doors are then shut. The main entrance should then be used for children who arrive after this time.
We ask parents not to come into school with their children, but to leave them in the playground or at the door for Early Years. There will of course be times when parents need to speak to the class teacher, but whenever possible such meetings are best kept to the end of the school day when staff have more time to discuss matters arising and less disruption is caused to the school day. Whenever possible, it is best to make an appointment to see the class teacher, so that the necessary time can be given. Please contact the office to make all appointments.
School starts – 8.50 a.m.
