Our School Prayer

Loving Father,

Thank you for my school, family, friends and all who help me to be the best that I can be.

Help me to make the right choices as I learn, love, pray and play at St Thomas More.

Guide me to live my life as you want me to.

I know that you are always there for me.

Amen.

The ultimate aim of Catholic Life in our school is to develop the full potential of all young people, leading to their life-long activities being guided by the Holy Spirit and presence of Christ.

Our school is not only part of a community of faith, but more importantly, we believe that our faith is the centre around which the planning, teaching and learning in our school is focused. The children have a strong sense of belonging, where they follow and demonstrate our Mission Statement.

We understand the importance of our Catholic faith and traditions, fostering a love for God and the Gospel. We enable children to identify themselves as Christians and more importantly, value theirs and others’ individuality and for them to also develop a diverse understanding of others’ faith and cultures.

Every day in our school starts with Sacred Space. This is a beautiful opportunity for us to come together as a school family and to prepare ourselves for the day ahead. We have worship threaded throughout the week.
